    Furniture

    On this page you will find the different pieces of furniture which were designed up to this moment. All images are computer images, so colors might differ from the actual build pieces, in spite of our constant endeavours to match the screen with reality. Elsewhere on this site you will find real photo's of the build prototypes. As a matter of course the furniture is in constant development, so you should not be surprised to find a slighty different image in a month or so.
    As already mentioned elsewhere, it is possible to order the items in different colors. You even could ask for special adaptations - like difference in hight, the armrest at the other side (in the case of Trigemini e.g.). Often, but not always, this will lead to additional fees, since we have to search a matching tissue and paint, to say the least. The page Order will tell you more about this.

    Perlucida

    The revolutionairy table Perlucida (which means translucent) smashes wiht a wink the standard confiction that a table top should exist out one piece. Horizontally translucent - even talking about a table top!
    Of course we found a solution for other uses. If you are ever seducted to prepare a meal for more people, you can easily transform the table top into one level (look to the left).


    This combination of colors unifies intensely green with the natural color of wood which has been treated with linseed oil.

    Concubine

    The occasional table Concubine lives up to its name by being multipurpose, everywhere you need an extra support for, let's say, a glas, amuze-geul or whatever.
    Warning: the table is not designed to sit on!

    Parva

    The coffee table Parva (which means: small) blends totally into the other designs. It has the same features of austerity, as well as of the disruption thereof.
    Of course a piece of furniture should be conceived for using it, so there two drawers to hide your necessairy nicknacks.
    Of course is this coffee table also available in the natural wood color with green accents, as you saw higher up.

    Gemina

    The two-seater sofa Gemina (twins) will give you a superb opportunity to enjoy convenience and intense intimity - not too far apart and not on the other lap as well. By the way, Gemina had a half brother (of half sister, if you like that better) which is build a bit differently, because you can invite a third party to participate as well. Look further down please.

    Of course is Gemina also available in the natural wood color with green accents, as you saw higher up.

    Trigemini and Angulus

    The two-seater sofa Trigemini (triplets) in fact invites a third person to join in. Angulus (angle) has been conceved to lean against Trigemini, but can of course be used separedly as well. By the way, the same goes true for Trigemini.

    Of course is Trigemini also available in the natural wood color with green accents, as you saw higher up.

    Scrinium

    Scrinium (desk) is a really large writing desk in the color settings of these designs. It will undoubtedly be rather difficult to make mess on this desk, since there is so much sorage capacity that even you probably will have room left!
    The austere design, even with the frivolous elements of the oblique beams, which function as grips by the way, will stimulate your concentration at work.

    Format    Height 81 cm.; width 93 cm.; length: 217 cm.

    Pictura

    This is the picture frame Picture - the name is rather self evidne of course. The design is always the same, but the sizes are different. We give you the possibility to give us the sizes of the picture you want to frame. Although the electricity filament in this picture is invisible, Pictura is provided with a very economic 12 V (transformator will be delivered with the frame) LED lights to give your picture, photo or whatever is in the frame, the proper accent. The lamp can be turned higher and lower.



    Material     Wood: pine and oak (to limit the weight of the frame).

    Cubitura

    Cubitura is one of the beds (with the same dimensions) in this series - see Lectus further down. Contrary to what we already consider a long time as ill-considered, these beds do have a proper 'boarding' and 'lying' height. Simply, you turn your back to the bed and you fall down. Result: your are immediately lying as you should!
    Cubitura has a solid slatted base and a custom made foam rubber mattress (HG SG45 soft) of 20 cm. thickness (for the moment represent in the image with a green color). The lower part is build extra strong, whilst the head and foot part are made in the same merry colors as the other furniture in this line.

    Mattress    high end foam rubber of HR SG45 quality.
    Format    Width 160 cm.; length 200 cm.; sleeping / boarding height: 66 cm.
    Speciality    The bed is normally sold with the mattress inclusive, but you can order it without as well if you want.

    The lamps pivot on two points, so one person can sleep whilst the other reads.

    Lectus

    Lectus is the second double bed of ample dimensions in this series - see Cubitura above.
    Apart from that, Lectus has a few avantages above Cubitura. The most important is of course, that the design is closely connected to the other furniture in this series. To mention the least: the high red support for the back, you find in the chairs and two-seaters e.g. Apart from that Lectus has two features Cubitura lacks: a stuffed support for the back and the reading lamps with go with it. Two demands which are absolute conditions to be able to read in bed by lots of people.
    Like Cubitura, Lectus has a solid slatted base and a custom made foam rubber mattress (HG SG45 soft) of 20 cm. thickness (for the moment represent in the image with a light color). The lower part is build extra strong.

    Vestiario

    Vestiario is the (fitted) wardrobe in this series. There will be ample storage room for your garments. Of course there are people who need a room to stock their wardrobe, but we hardly can offer a room, don't you think so?
    In the design of the wardrobe, we not only decided to rest true to the principles of this series of furniture but to offer something extra as well. E.g., with two simple manipulations you can put Vestiario on built-in wheels to roll it to another location in the room. With another simple click the wardrobe is stable on its feet again.
    Before we forget: the doors pivot on the center post. May be, this gives you some nostalgic feelings in these modern times, since vintage cars often used the same pivot point.

    The hanging part with some extra small compartments for horizontal storage.

    The shelved part of the wardrobe. The slanted yellow ornamentation functions also as the grip to open the wardrobe.

    Sellam

    Sellam is straight forward in its use: it is a stool that in the first place was designed for the harpsichord and clavichord you find on this site (see Musical instruments. Of course you can acquire the stool seperatedly for e.g. your piano or whatever use for sitting you might have in mind.
    Sellam has the default height of a (piano) stool, but is easy to regulate in height as well. Standard is 50 cm., the highest position is 56 cm.

    Aristos will work out your idea and propose you the result. Only when both of you are satisfied about this result and the financial part, you give the order to have your unique instrument made!
